PWA management presents International Royal Award for Pro Wrestling Excellence to Shaolin Master in Togo
The management of Pro Wrestling Africa (PWA), has presented an International Royal Award for Pro Wrestling Excellence (IRAWE) to Coach Bafuka Nsimba the Shaolin Grand Maître who flew in from Brussels, Belgium to Lome, Togo on the 26th December 2025 in an effort to run Pro Wrestling training for West African pro wrestling talents from Togo, Benin Republic, Nigeria and Ghana respectively.
Shaolin, the head coach and coordinator at the Brussels Young Wrestling Style and Belgium Pro Wrestling Federation, both in Belgium, was in Nigeria, Benin Republic and Togo for three weeks in July 2024 training athletes from West Coast of Africa which he recently repeated in Togo for ten days from 27th December 2025 to January 5th, 2026.
Speaking on the award, Secretary General of Pro Wrestling Africa, Sesan Olukoya described it as well deserved noting that the Shallon Master had earlier donated a pro wrestling ring to Togo Catch.
” We decided to give him this award in recognition of his contributions in training wrestlers from the West Coast of Africa and to appreciate him for donating a wrestling ring to Togo.
In accepting the award, Shallon Master said he is highly honoured to be recognized, noting that it will spur him to do more for the development of pro wrestling in the West African Sub- region
