Lagos Legends Club has given kudos to all those who contributed towards the success of her maiden Re-Union football fiesta which took place October 3 at the Nitel ground, Oshodi, Lagos.
Ex international Waidi Akanni who is the convener of the event said he appreciates all those who made the show a huge success, especially the sponsors.
He pointed out that several leading political, sports personalities and businesses moguls made out time to be part of the show.
“I was shocked to see friends who came from even outside the country. I want to say a big thank you to them all. To our sponsors and donors, I doff my hat. The likes of Yemi Idowu, Charles Molin, Alao Hassan, Kenneth Okorie, Hajj Gafar, Hon Ajide, Ebi Egbe (Monimichelle), Wasiu Eshinlokun-Sanni, Segun Osiyemi, DanJan Sports and VFC Media/SME deserve praise. I also salute all the distinguished members of the Lagos Legends Club.”
Waidi said the success of the maiden edition has encouraged him to begin planning immediately for the 2022 edition which he hopes to be bigger and better.
