Shooting Stars to invade Enugu for Coal City Pre- season tournament
As part of their preparation for the 2024/25 season, Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, will take part in another pre-season tournament in Enugu.
The eight team tourney, tagged the Coal City Cup 2024 Tournament, is scheduled to commence on Thursday, August 1.
The Ibadan soccer lords will be joined by Rangers International, Enyimba FC, Remo Stars and four teams from outside Nigeria, namely, FC Kalon of Sierra Leone, Cotton FC, Benin Republic, Gor Mahia from Kenya and Brazilian side, Corinthians.
The Oluyole Warriors will take on FC Kallon on Thursday, August 1, in the tourney’s opener, slated to kick off at 5pm at the ‘Cathedral’.
According to the Media Officer of the team Tosin Omojola, 3SC are hitting the Coal City fresh from their participation in the 2024 ValueJet Cup pre season Tournament ongoing at the Remo Stars’ Stadium, Ikenne.
