Sports Centre Awareness Forum to hold Annual Lecture/Award Saturday
Organisers of the annual Sports Centre Awareness Forum have concluded plans to hold the 2024 edition of it’s Annual Lecture/ Award Day on Saturday, October, 19, 2024 by 11am.
The event with the topic Paris Olympics, Rising from the Ashes will hold at the Abesan Youth Center, 5th Avenue, Liberty Bus Stop, Abesan Estate, Ipaja, Lagos.
Disclosing this to Newstap com.ng, convenor of the event, Tayo Adeyemo explained that the key speakers will be 5-time Olympian, Bose Kaffo and Secretary General of the Nigeria Olympic Committee, Tunde Popoola.
According to him all logistics have been put in place to ensure a successful event just as he promised that this year’s edition will be the best in recent times.
” We’re promising a well organised event and we’re going to raise the bar from what we’ve done in previous editions.
“Right now, key note speakers namely; 5- time Olympian, Bose Kaffo and NOC scribe, Tunde Popoola will be at hand to deliver insightful papers on the last Olympics and the way forward”, he concluded.
The event is expected to attract many sports personalities, stakeholders and sports enthusiast, friends of the organisation and the general public
