NPFL: Coaches deserve better deal to deliver -Bob Osim

Ex international Bob Osim has charged clubs in the country, especially those in the top flight, to treat their coaches well as that is the only way the tacticians can deliver.
Osim a CAF Champions league winner with Enyimba noted that one of the things working against Nigerian football is the lack of respect club managers have for their coaches.
He stressed that coaches can’t deliver when the environment is not conducive.
“Those running our clubs must learn to respect their coaches and give them free hand to do the job for which they are hired. We have to put a stop to the frustration coaches face if our football must grow. No coach can deliver if he is surrounded by officials who are self centered,” Osim said.
It would be noted that Katsina United coach, Azeez Mohammed has just thrown in the towel following what he called undue interference with his job by the club’s management.
