Uchegbulam thumbs up NNL board
Former 1st Vice President of Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF), Amanze Uchegbulam has commended Nigeria National League Board ( NNL) led by Mr. George Aluo for the good job it’s doing in repositioning the second tier league; saying that they’ve done well.
Uchegbulam who was present in Abakiliki last Saturday to watch the NNL season opener between Abakiliki FC and Madiba FC of Lagos expressed happiness that the league profile has been raised since Mr. Aluo took over, urging the board not to relent in breaking new grounds for the most important league in the country .
” I’m really excited with the progress made by the present board of the NNL who in.less than two years of coming on board has raised the profile of the league.
” I have been following all their programs and am highly impressed with how they prepared coaches and media officers before the commencement of the league and I urge them to keep it up because they’re really doing a good job.
The one time Chairman of Imo State Football Association used the occasion to appeal for corporate support for the NNL in order to enable the board continue the good job it’s doing.
” It’s important that I appeal to corporate organisations to partner with NNL so as to enable the board achieve it’s objectives of making the second tier league more attractive and comparable to similar leagues in the world”, he concluded
