Emotional messages of commiserations have continued to pour him for Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi on the death of his father, Pa Sunday Ndidi, who died Tuesday, as a result of car accident in Umunede town, near Agbor, Delta State.
In his message of condolence to the mercurial Besiktas of Turkey midfielder, veteran sports broadcaster Felix Awogu, expressed his shock and sadness on the news.
Awogu, who is Executive Head Outside broadcast and studios at Multichoice Nigeria, in an emotion laden tone urged Wilfred Ndidi to be strong, adding that like millions of football fans globally, he is praying for the repose of the soul of the deceased.
“We can only pray that Wilfred Ndidi remain emotionally strong at this period.
“On behalf of my humble self and my family, I pray that God in His infinite mercies grant him the strength and fortitude to bear his irreparable loss,” Awogu prayed.
