Veteran Sports Journalist, Raymond Akparhuere Weds Onyinyechi Okeiyi in Colourful Traditional Ceremony
It was a carnival of colours and joy Saturday in Oboro, Ikwuano, Local Government Area of Abia State, as veteran sports journalist, Mr. Raymond Akparhuere tied the knot with Onyinyechi Okeiyi in a traditional wedding that brought together families and friends from Delta and Abia States.
The ceremony united both families in a vibrant display of culture and festivity. Guests from the local community, friends, and well-wishers gathered at Okeiyi Compound, Umuahia, to witness the joyous occasion.
The bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chukwuemeka Okeiyi, officially handed over their daughter to the groom, a moment that drew applause and cheers from attendees.
In a touching moment, the bride’s elder brother, Emeka Okeiyi, a former footballer, expressed gratitude to God for the union and prayed for a life full of blessings and happiness for the newly wed.
