World Champion Tobi Amusan Poised to Set the Pace at All Nigeria Athletics Trials, as Ghana Men’s Relay Team battle Team Nigeria

Nigeria’s athletics enthusiasts are expected to witness a thrilling 100m women’s race when World 100m hurdles Champion Tobi Amusan and others compete at the ongoing Nigeria Athletics Trials at Yaba College of Technology today.
Tobi Amusan appears ready to run the 100m flat, an event she has resurrected, sporting a low-cut hairstyle.
The final day of the All Nigeria Ahletics Championship Trials in Lagos will feature several events including the duel between Nigeria Men’s Relay Teams and their Ghanaian counterparts as both countries aim to qualify for the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, Japan in September.
Today’s events will include 200m, 400m, 4×400m, 4×100m, Medley and mixed Relay races.
The AFN President Chief Tonobok Okowa has expressed gratitude to Arise News TV and the National Sports Commission (NSC) for their financial support and hopes that more Nigerians will come forward to support athletics in Nigeria.
Okowa however commended the enthusiastic huge sports fans who have been supporting athletes throughout the championship.
