Wrestlers talk tough ahead Africa Pro- Wrestling Extravaganza

With few weeks to the much talked about Wrestling Africa Extravaganza slated to hold on Sunday, December, 24, 2023, wrestlers who will be participating in the competition are already sending warning signals to their opponents ahead of the fight.
Pro- Wrestling Africa in conjunction with Florida, United States based Golden Wrestling Federacy and the African Wrestling Organization (AWO) will be organising the ‘End of the Year Wrestling Extravaganza’ at the wrestling arena, National Stadium Surulere Lagos.
The three organizations came together in an effort to entertain the teeming pro- wrestling fans in Nigeria and neighbouring countries who would be gathering at the end of the year championship.
Apart from mats men from DR Congo and Zimbabwe that will be on parade, it’s expected that executives of the newly inaugurated wrestling associations of Benin Republic and Togo will be on ground to witness the timely championship.
Speaking on his preparedness for the fight, Nigerian Mr. Sharpman who will be meeting USA Bing of Congo DR for the PWA Light heavyweight title noted that he’ll not be intimidated by the high profile of his Congolese opponent describing the fight as his best opportunity to be crowned African champion.
“I’m preparing seriously for the fight and will not allow any distraction to prevent me from gaining a pin fall against my opponent and be decorated with the continental belt’, began the Orlu, Imo State born wrestler.
” There is no doubt that USA Bing is a dreaded wrestler having conquered all in Central Africa but by the time I finish with him, he will retire prematurely from the ring
“All I want Nigerians to do is to troop out in their thousands and support me because I will present the belt as Christmas gift to Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma and all wrestling fans in Nigeria.
Also speaking from his base in Kinshasa, the DR Congo Capital, USA Bing advised Nigerians to start preparing a stretcher that will be used to send Me. Sharpman to the hospital, warning him to be ready to face the worst fight of his life.
Meanwhile, Secretary General of Pro- Wrestling Africa who also doubles as Chief Operating Officer of Golden Wrestling Federacy, Olusesan Olukoya has assured Nigerian wrestling fans that there will be no dull moment on December 24.
He reminded Nigerians that the gate fee is free as it will serve as Christmas gift to wrestling fans .
In his remarks from his base in the United States of America, the CEO of Golden Wrestling Federacy, Dr. Jimmy McDowell known as ‘Golden Boy’ in wrestling circles said that he’s encouraged with the growth of the sports in Africa, assuring that his body will continue to encourage the further development of the game.
“I’m highly excited with the development of the game in Africa; a continent blessed with abundant talents and am equally happy with the forthcoming championship which I hope will go a long way in charting a new course for professional wrestling development in the continent”, he stressed
Other fights of the day will see Stability De Man of Zimbabwe competing with Major Ariba in an elimination match and if Stability wins, that would afford him opportunity to compete for the PWA Cruiserweight title in Zimbabwe against a South African in March 2024.
Also to be competing for glory during the championship are; Godskid, Black Heritage, 6.5, Eagle De Great Nail, De Hardman, Jimmy Palm Junior, Rodrick Fred, Alexandra De Queen and De Blaze.
