Young Shuttlers Shine at U-15 Southwest Badminton Tournament
The Police College Badminton Club hosted a thrilling U-15 Southwest badminton tournament, showcasing the skills and talent of young players from the South West states.
Chairman of the Police College Badminton Club, Kelechi Uloh, praised the participants’ passion and impressive display of badminton tactics, skills, and grit.
The tournament aims to discover young talent and nurture future ambassadors for Nigeria.

Chairman Lagos State badminton association, John Duru commended the Police College badminton club for keeping fate with the organization of the South West badminton championship while noting that the club has supported the association with access to the world standard courts and training state athletes ahead of major tournaments ” John Duru explained
Meanwhile, results in the Boys Singles shows that Daniel Oyinlola of (Lagos State) defeated Samuel Adenekan of Ogun State to win the boys category
Naomi Bello of ogun State defeated Mariam Audu of Lagos State to emerge champion of the girls singles
In the Boys Doubles: Daniel Oyinlola/Victor Okako Lagos State defeated Samuel Adenekan/Tobi Shoyomi of Ogun State
In the Girls Doubles: Naomi Bello/Temtope Shoyomi representing Ogun State defeated Fadekemi/Ramat Kareem
Awards were presented to the winners and their coaches, marking a successful tournament.
