11 Days to Go: Yenagoa Wears New Look, City Set for a Grand Road Race Experience
Excitement is building as just 11 days remain until the highly anticipated Yenagoa City International 10KM Race, set to transform the streets of Yenagoa into a hub of energy, endurance, and celebration.
Scheduled for April 4, 2026, the race will bring together elite runners, fitness enthusiasts, and sports lovers from across Nigeria and beyond. From the starting point at Obollo Roundabout to the grand finish at Peace Park Square, participants will enjoy a scenic and electrifying route through the heart of the city.
With 11 days to go, organizers, Nilayo Sports Management Ltd. have intensified preparations to deliver a world-class event that blends competition with community spirit and entertainment. Runners are advised to finalize their registration and gear up for race day.
All registered participants are to collect their race kits at the Peace Park, Yenagoa, starting from April 1- 3, 2026, between 9:00am and 4:00pm daily.
Each kit includes a race bib, branded vest, and other essential materials required for participation. Participants are required to present a valid form of identification or registration confirmation to collect their kits.
