58 Birthday Gbosas to One of Nigeria’s Finest Youth And Sports Minister

Today, I have the absolute pleasure of joining Nigerians home and diaspora to wish the very happiest of birthdays to a political juggernaut and frontline politician from oyo state, the Agbaakin of Ogbomoso land, and erstwhile Honourable Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Chief Sunday Akin Dare ,FNIS,CON.A man whose leadership is truly invaluable.
A man blessed with many remarkable qualities, where having a great sense of leadership is just one of them.
He has a positive impact on everything he does. He has complete integrity and he uses that to stand for what he believes is best for the majority.
Chief Dare have proven countless times that he’s the best in his field and has certainly earned his place in history.His guidance and mentorship have had such a huge influence on many people who have been fortunate enough to have worked with him.
His direction and leadership are second to none. He has excellent records of service in both public and private sectors.
May I take this opportunity to thank you once again for leveraging on your integrity and goodwill with the youths to courageously guide the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development through a difficult phase into future prosperity by refurbishing various sports facilities in the country which includes the refurbishment of Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja which was neglected and abandoned for over 11 years before you came into office and Daura township stadium Katsina and the National Stadium Surulere which was neglected for 22 years.
Hundreds of thousands of Nigerian youths that benefitted from various programmes initiated by you will never forget you. The programmes which includes;Nigeria Youth Investment Fund (NYIF),Digital Literacy and Skills Acquisition, Entrepreneurship, Employability and Leadership(DEEL),Work Experience Programe (WEP), Digital Youth Nigeria (DYNG) and Nigeria Online Youth Assembly (NOYA) were introduced and carefully crafted by you to address the burning issues of unemployment and employability of our youths.
Under these initiatives and programmes, many youths were given the access to funds needed for enterprise, underwent different training programs and became self reliant.
The Youth Corps members of NYSC that are currently benefitting from the increment of NYSC monthly allowance from #19000 to #33000 will never forget you.
You are also the first ever Minister of Youth and Sports Development in Nigeria to organized the first ever National Youth Conference which held on November 2021 where youths from 36 states and the FCT came together to discuss various issues confronting the youths.
You ensured that everything ran so smoothly, and led our youths with such care and passion. Thank you.
You are a visionary leader and a true inspiration to many persons. Your headstrong approach and passion to achieve what you set out to do are so remarkable and truly inspirational. You lead the way and light up the path for all of those who follow you.I have total faith in you and I would support your ambition every time.
May God Almighty grant you good health, long life and give you all the strength needed to lead people around you and Oyo State at large towards a better and brighter future.
