AFA Sports CEO, Ugo Udezue impressed by Sportsville awards quality

The Chief Executive Officer of AFA Sports, Ugo Udezue has rated the Sportsville award highly. Udezue says he is impressed by the quality of the list made by Sportsville as everyone selected has contributed highly in the development of sports in Nigeria.

Udezue who hit international recognition with AFA Sports as Nigeria’s official kit partner to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics said, “I have put down this note to express my acceptance of the award and my intention to be physically present at the event. I feel highly honoured and I say thank for the recognition.
“I have looked through the list of personalities listed for the awards. I have also taken time to review the maiden event held last year and I am equally impressed with the assemblage of individuals who have always gone extra mile and done things differently to raise the quality of the sports they lead and the lives of the key players in those fields.”
Udezue whose company kits the famed D’Tigress said that the selection process gives the Sportsville award high good level of integrity.
He said, “What has impressed me highly is that I never canvassed for this recognition and I believe it is the same with other awardees.
“At AFA Sports, one of our foremost goals is to make life less stressful for the athletes while doing our best to help empower them and those working with and for them economically. We are also of the belief that Sportsville share that passion of making Nigerian sports and indeed African sports and the society generally a better place for those coming after us with the adoption of independent, positive and balanced reportage of the events you cover.”
