UCL: Chukwueze’s strike takes Villarreal into semi final

Samuel Chukwueze’s superb strike was all Villarreal needs to land in the semi final of the UEFA champions league at the expense of star studded Bayern Munich.

Chukwueze who came in late in second half struck with just two minutes to go to the delight of fans of the yellow sub marines.

Lewandoski had put Bayern ahead in the 50th minute to cancel out Villarreal’s first leg advantage.

The encounter was one in which Villarreal played defensively in a bid to preserve their 1-0 first leg lead.

The strategy paid off as they landed in the semi 2–1 on aggregate.
