Why I am bringing Mayweather to Nigeria -Keane

By George Aluo

Keane Anis, the very close pal of Floyd Mayweather has given reasons why he is facilitating the trip of the American boxing legend to Nigeria.
Mayweather is billed to arrive Abuja on Friday ahead of his Sky of Dubai fight against ‘Dangerous’ Don Moore on May 14 in Dubai.
Mayweather would address the press at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja and possibly visit Lagos before jetting out of the country.
Anis while basking in the euphoria of the historic visit said the trip would impact positively on the game in Africa as it would propel the youths to strive for excellence and achieve great things like Mayweather.
“It is a way of giving back to Africa and promoting the game of boxing in Nigeria. I am a Nigerian and want the best for the country. Mayweather himself has been talking about visiting Africa and I am glad it is happening,” Anis stated.
Interestingly, the fight in Dubai is not only about Mayweather and Moore as the four undercards would be featuring other heavyweights.
On parade would be UFC legend Anderson Silva who would be up against fellow Brazilian fighting star Bruno Machado.
The fights will be broadcast live worldwide via premium digital streaming service LIVENow. It is available for purchase on www.live_now.com and via www globaltitans.com.
