Chelsea make FA Cup losing history

By George Aluo
Chelsea have become the first club in FA Cup history to lose three straight finals after bowing to Liverpool at Wembley.
Liverpool defeated Chelsea 5-4 on penalties after full and extra time ended goalless.
Chelsea last year lost to Leicester and two seasons ago lost to Arsenal.
For Liverpool, it has been a bad FA Cup for several seasons as the club last won the trophy in 2006 under Brendan Rogers.
With the victory, Liverpool’s quadruple hope remains alive as they are still in contention for the EPL and UEFA champions league. It would be noted that Liverpool won the Carabo Cup beating Chelsea in the final that also went into penalty shootout.
Liverpool would on May 28 face Real Madrid in the UEFA champions league final in Paris.
