Iloenyosi inaugurates Ondo chapter of ANFPU

By George Aluo

BOT chairman of All Nigeria Football Players Union (ANFPU) Chikelue Iloenyosi has inaugurated the Ondo State chapter of the union.

Iloenyosi while inaugurating the state chapter harped on the need for members to stay united.

He said ANFPU as the apex body of players union in the country would ensure the welfare of her members.

He said the union is being driven by integrity unlike in the past when selfishness was the order of the day.

He stressed that steps are being taken to ensure that the union lives up to the expectation of members across the country.

“Ex internationals must remain relevant in the scheme of things. As a body, we are a major stakeholder when it comes to football having played the game at the highest level,” Iloenyosi said.

The Akure inauguration was attended by the Lagos state Chairman of the body Francis Agbata, Sam Otis and several other ex internationals.
