Abagana, Anambra State bubbles for Umeadi football tournament

The popular Abagana Town in Anambra State would come alive today (Sunday November 27) with the official kickoff of Dr Chinedu Umeadi football tournament.

The competition which is in its fourth edition is attracting grassroots teams from the community.

Anambra FA has endorsed the competition with the state FA chairman Chikelue Iloenyosi who himself is from the town doing the official kick off as Special Guest of Honor.

Anambra FA in a release stated that all arrangements have been concluded for a colorful opening ceremony which starts by 4 pm at the Igwebuike Primary School football field, Abagana.

The tournament is being bankrolled by  High Chief (Dr) Chinedu Umeadi (Agunaechemba na Abagana), the Young Progressives Party (YPP) Senatorial Candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial District.
