New Year: Ikeji Congratulates Nigerians, Abians, Urges Them To Vote Massively For Obi, Otti, Others

Labour Party chieftain and member of The Peter Obi Presidential Campaign Council and Dr Alex Otti Gubernatorial Campaign Council, High Chief Victor Ikeji has congratulated Nigerians and the good people of Abia State in particular for making it to the New Year in spite of the numerous challenges that faced them in 2022.
Ikeji who holds the revered titles of Onorube Nwanne Agbalaso of Avutu Obowo, Oji Aku Emezi Obodo 1 of Umudike kingdom, Kpakpando Umukabia, Kpakpando Ohuhu and Kpakpando Umuahia Gburugburu noted that the miracle of daily existence in good health itself was a grace that must not be taken for granted even as he thanked God for His infinite mercies for surviving the harsh economic realities which bedeviled the country in 2022.
Ikeji, in his New Year message signed by himself in Umuahia, described 2023 as a year of new hope and strong beginning. The statement added that he was optimistic about the opportunities and possibilities that lie ahead and urged Nigerians and Abians to remain resolute and determined as a people in order to actualize their dreams.
” It was really a difficult and challenging year indeed for all Nigerians, especially Abia State. Nevertheless, we should thank God for guiding us peacefully to the New Year,” part of the statement read.
” May we also experience peace, love and joy throughout the New Year. On behalf of my beloved family, I wish all Nigerians and Abians a happy and prosperous New Year.”
Ikeji however expressed hope that 2023 would be a giant lift for Abia people and advised them not to despair, saying ” hope is on the horizon.”
According to him, 2023 would be significant for Abia State, being the year that it’s citizens will elect new leaders to pilot the affairs of the state. He wishes Abians success individually and collectively in 2023, while calling for prayers for successful elections.
” 2023 is a defining year for all Abians, which is why the citizens should be united and speak with one voice,” he posited.
Ikeji went on to canvass support for Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, governorship candidate of the Labour Party in Abia State, Dr Alex Otti and the other Labour Party candidates, saying voting them would transform the sorry situation in the state and country.
” Let me use this platform to appeal to all Abians to support our new cause to recover and rebuild our state and country for a prosperous 2023 and beyond.
” If we believe in this mission, we should all come out en masse with our PVC to vote massively for Peter Obi and Dr Alex Otti as well as other Labour Party candidates and we will never regret we did.”
He concluded by saying – “Abians weep no more, help is coming, Dr Alex Otti is coming.”
