NPFL:Onuh makes magical start with Abia Warriors

Incredible results! That is what clubs have continued to post in the very first week of the NPFL abridged league.

After the away victory of Insurance in the opener against Akwa United, Abia Warriors today took Rangers to the cleaners at the Awka City Stadium winning by 2-0 in the very first game of the new manager of the Umuahia side, Erasmus Onuh.

Interestingly, the encounter was one in which Abia Warriors couldn’t play five of their players, no thanks to incomplete registration.

Abia Warriors scored their first goal in the 42nd minute with Bello Lukman doing the job.

Onuh’s boys sealed the game when Monday Yakubu scored in added on time.
