Oyo assembly confirms 9 Commissioner Nominees
Oyo State House of Assembly on Friday unveiled names of nine commissioner-nominees.
Dr Wasiu Olatunbosun, Prince Dotun Oyelade and others were part of the names earlier forwarded to the House by Governor Seyi Makinde.
Oyelade and Olatunbosun served in Makinde’s previous cabinet as Chairman of the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State and Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, respectively.
The nominees’ names were read on the floor of the house today by the Speaker. Who was represented by his Deputy, Hon. Muhammed Fadeyi during a special plenary.
All the nominees were mandated by the House to appear before it for screening next Tuesday.
They are also to submit 50 copies of their CV to the Clack of the House.
The commissioner-nominees’ list include Mr Abiodun Akinkomo, Segun Olayiwola, Hon. Wasiu Olatunbosun, Prof Abduwaheed Soliu and Barr. Olasunkanmi Olaleye.
Others are Hon. AbdulMojeed Mogbonjubola, Chief Obefemi Ademola Ojo, Williams Akin-fumilayo and Prince Dotun Oyelade.
