Semi – finalists emerge in FIBA basketball Pre- Olympic qualifiers

The semi- finals line up at the ongoing FIBA Pre-Olympic Games Qualifying Tournament at the Eko Convention Center Lagos, South West, Nigeria is now complete.
The latest country to punch it’s semi- final ticket is Guinea. They did that at the expense of Tunisia on Friday in the last group B game which they won by 95-86 points.
The West Africans won the first quarter by a slim margin of 20-21 before winning the second quarter 29-20 and after the break took the third quarter 25-18 before finally cementing their victory in the fourth and final quarter
Guinea finished second with three points while Tunisia had two points in group B won by Cameroon with four points.
Guinea will now meet Senegal in the semi- final on Saturday while Cameroon battles Mali in the other semi final game also on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Senegal Thursday, recorded a 74-71 victory over Mali to. top Group A
