President Federation Cup: Aluo Wishes NNL Clubs Good Outing In Round of 64

Following today’s draws for this year’s Round of 64 matches of the annual President Federation Cup, Chairman of Nigeria National League (NNL) has wished all the second tier league teams participating in the championship good luck as they participate in the national competition.

The draws held Friday at the NFF Secretariat, Abuja indicates that NNL side, Beyond Limits will be up against Bida Lions while Jigawa Golden Stars will face Wikki Tourists just as Sokoto United will meet Mojoda Fc.

Also Akwa United who narrowly missed promotion to the NPFL will be up against Wilbros Fc with Crown Fc of Ogbomosho facing Cynosure Fc while Stormers Fc of Abeokuta will meet Warri Wolves.
Speaking on the draws,
Aluo expressed optimism that the teams will scale through to the round of 32 and go ahead to once again register their presence in the knockout stage of the most glamorous football competition in the country.

” I want to wish all NNL teams participating in the round of 64 good luck as they embark on this important journey.

” Our clubs have always done well over the year’s in the President Federation Cup and I want them to replicate that succees in this year’s championship.

” And as they go into this round, I want to see them qualify not only for the round of 32, but the knockout stage and eventually be in the finals as we have witnessed in recent times and I wish them good outing”, concluded Aluo who has been receiving commendations for the transformations he has brought to the most important league in the country.

It would be recalled that El Kanemi won the Federation Cup two seasons ago as an NNL side while Abakiliki Fc another NNL side lost to Kwara United in last year’s finals after a penalty shoot out.
