Ambassador Chigbolu Lauds World Archery on Mohammed Abdullahi’s Commonwealth Games appointment.

The Wvorld Archery Federation has appointed the President of the Nigeria Archery Federation, Mr. Mohammed Baba Abdullahi as member of the Five man Committee of the 2026 Commonwealth Games.

Mohammed’s letter of appointment which was signed by the Secretary General of the World Archery Federation, Mr. Paul Calin and directed to the chairman of the Commonwealth Games Committee, Mr. Robert Fiddyment reads,
“On behalf of World Archery, I am pleased to provide written confirmation on the appointments made by the world Archery Executive Board to serve on the Commonwealth Gam s Committee.
We look forward to these individuals contributing to the activities on your committee.

Secretary General.

However, the NAFED President, Mohammed Baba Abdullahi, was appointed alongside four others in the 5- member Commonwealth Committee,

Mohammed Baba Abdullahi, Mr. Karl
Balisch, Ms Yrima Roberts, Ms.Ainsley Ward and Mr. Virendra Sachdeva.
Menwhile, the Vice President of the Nigeria Archery Federation, Ambassador Augustine Chigbolu has applauded the world Archery Federation’s laudable appointment of Mohammed Abdullahi as member of the Commonwealth Games Committee describing it as a well deserved move considering his contributions in archery development not only in Nigeria and Africa but globally.

Besides Nigeria, Ambassador Chigbolu revealed that Archery has been getting more attention continentally due to the driving force of people like Mr. Abdullahi and wants such momentum to continue.
