Unity Cup: 3SC fans urge Chelle to extend invitation to Adegoke

Fans of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan have pleaded with Super Eagles coach, Eric Chelle to consider Qamar Adegoke for invitation to the Unity Cup in London.
The fans, according to their spokesperson, Mutiu Ijadunola, with Adegoke’s performance in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), he has shown that he can add value to the team’s striking force and also be in a position to
understudy Victor Osimhen if encouraged and properly guided.
“Adegoke has proven to be the NPFL’s most clinical striker. He showed class in all the matches he played. His performance has already caught the attention of coaches and fans and we think he desires a place in the invitational tournament.
“At 21, he’s disciplined, collecting only one yellow card and has also shown that he can withstand pressure required at the international stage.
His market value has already increased, making him the league’s most valuable domestic asset.
“London is the perfect ‘shop window’ for his talent. He isn’t just a prospect; he is a specialist right-footed “Number 9″ hitting his peak at the ideal time,” Ijadunola said.
He added that it would be unfair for Chelle to ignore Adegoke and deny him the opportunity to showcase his talent in London.
