De Legacy Sports Supporters Club Inaugurate Assistant Principal Officers, Set Up Committees

As part of it’s efforts to further reposition the club and consolidate on its leadership vibrancy, De Legacy Sports Supporters Club, Tuesday, May, 26, 2026 inaugurated assistant principal officers that will help in the day to day running of the club.

Inaugurating the officers at the club’s National Secretariat situated at the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, National President of the Club, Prince Happy reminded them that their position requires commitment, sacrifice and respect of the rules and regulations guilding the club even as he charged them to be diligent in their duties.

” You should count yourselves lucky to be chosen as principal officers of our great club. However, it’s important I remind you that your new position demands more commitment and sacrifice because you will act as ambassadors of the club at all times.

” As assistant principal officers, you’re expected to discharge your duties diligently as well as obey the laws, rules and regulations of the club at all times”, he stressed.

Those inaugurated are; Shittu Ganiu Babatunde, Assistant Social Secretary, Lekan Akinruli, Assistant Media Officer, Adelowo Ademide, Assistant Chief Whip and Obinna Ogbaka, Assistant General Secretary.

Others are; Prince Adolor, Assistant National Coordinator, Innocent Dike, Assistant Eastern Coordinator and Abdulazeez Kehinde, Assistant Financial Secretary.
After the inauguration, all the officers were presented with letters of appointment.

Meanwhile, the club on the same day set up committees that will help in further moving the club forward.
The committees are re- branding, new membership drive, and fund raising.

Members of re- branding committee are; Femi Oladeinde, Prince Adolor, Obioma Ogbaka, Ganiyu Babatunde and Olalekan Akinruli.

New membership drive committee is made up of Alhaji Umar, Prince Adolor, Nathaniel Adelowo, William Ikem and Legacy Bimbo, while Fund raising committee comprises of Femi Olowoyeye, Peter Omagbemi, Legacy Bimbo, Sheyi Alexima and Abdilazeez Kehinde.

Speaking on behalf of the committee members and the newly inaugurated assistant principal officers, the Assistant National Coordinator, Prince Adolor, thanked the National President, Board of Trustee Members and all members for finding them worthy to serve the club in different capacities, pledging that they will not disappoint but will remain loyal and committed to the rules and regulations guilding the club.
