Jimmy Palm Presents Championship Belt to Ovie of Idjerhe Kingdom, receives Royal Blessing
Professional wrestler Jimmy Palm has paid a royal courtesy visit to the Palace of the Ovie of Idjerhe Kingdom, His Majesty, Obukohwo Monday Whiskey, Udurhie 1, on Monday 6th of July, 2026
The presentation was a mark of respect and appreciation for Ovie’s support for youth development, sports, and the promotion of professional wrestling.
Jimmy Palm reaffirmed his commitment to making the Idjerhe Kingdom proud by representing the community with excellence and honour both in Nigeria and internationally.
The visit was a memorable occasion, highlighting the strong bond between traditional leadership and the growth of professional wrestling in Africa.
High Chief Olorogun Samuel Omowo Otojareri, the Egbowhin of Idjerhe Kingdom, an uncle to Jimmy and also the team lead of Jimmy, introduced the guests in attendance after which Olukoya the Secretary General of PWA and representatives of AIWF read the speech he prepared for the royal visit.
The royal Majesty then invited Jimmy Palm and congratulated him and prayed for him.
In his speech, he said, “We are immensely proud of Jimmy Palm and remain committed to showcasing his remarkable achievements and contributions.
“His dedication, excellence, and accomplishments have brought honour to the Idjerhe Kingdom and continue to inspire others. We celebrate him as a worthy ambassador and reaffirm our commitment to recognizing and promoting his legacy for the benefit of future generations.
“We will introduce him to the Ethiope West Local Government and the Delta States Sports commission. We are indeed proud of his achievement as a Jesse man.
