NLO U-19 Youth League Kick-Off August 15

The Nationwide League One (NLO) has listed 16 match venues across Nigeria for the 2026 U-19 Youth League, billed to kick off on August 15, 2026.

The Board of the biggest grassroot league in Africa, while thanking the over 300 clubs in its ecosystem for the ongoing dedication to grassroots football development in Nigeria, officially inform all state FAs and affiliates of the kickoff date, which is sacrosanct.

According to a correspondence from the NLO Secretariat Media Channel, it stressed that the U-19 Youth League registration deadline is August 7, 2026, as all clubs must complete the registration of their players on the NLO portal (www.nlo.ng). Failure to do so will lead to exclusion from the season’s fixtures.

For Statutory Compliance, the NLO has adopted ARTICLE 2.01(3). All clubs must be affiliated with a state and pay the annual registration fee set by the NLO Board.

Clubs that do not comply will be considered to have withdrawn from the league.
