Professional wrestling in Nigeria continues to grow as a platform for youth empowerment, sports development, and international recognition.

As one of Kogi State’s emerging wrestling talents, Aliking has demonstrated the passion, discipline, and commitment required to compete at the highest level.

Aliking Attai Mohammed is a Nigerian professional wrestler, also known by his ring name Aliking De Action Disaster. He is the African TopClass Wrestling Stars (ATWS) middleweight champion and a crowned peace ambassador for the Nigeria Pro-Wrestling Federation.

Born on February 6, 1976, he is from Okpo in the Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State, Nigeria.

He won the National Security, Peace and Unity Pro Wrestling Championship Trophy in June 2021 after defeating Mighty Progress in Abuja.

He was crowned as an Igala Ambassador of Sports by the Attah of Igala, His Royal Majesty Matthew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa. He is recognized as a world middleweight title contender, with scheduled international and local championship bouts.

Representing Kogi State in a major professional wrestling championship is not only a personal achievement but also an opportunity to showcase the state’s sporting potential on the national and international stage.

With the right support from the Kogi State Government, Aliking can inspire a new generation of young athletes while bringing pride and positive recognition to the state.

Government support can include sponsorship for training, travel, accommodation, equipment, medical care, and participation in championship events.

Such investment in talented athletes reflects a commitment to youth development, sports excellence, and job creation through the sports industry.

Professional wrestling has evolved into a global sports entertainment business that creates opportunities beyond competition, including coaching, event management, media, tourism, and sports marketing.

Supporting athletes like Aliking aligns with efforts to diversify sports development and promote Kogi State as a producer of exceptional sporting talent.

Pro Wrestling Africa (PWA), the mouthpiece of African pro wrestling therefore calls on the Kogi State Government, corporate organizations, private sponsors, and sports stakeholders to rally behind Aliking as he prepares for forthcoming professional wrestling championships locally and internationally.

By investing in promising athletes today, Kogi State can help produce tomorrow’s champions and ambassadors who will proudly represent the state and Nigeria on the international stage.

Together, let us support Aliking’s journey to championship success and strengthen the future of professional wrestling in Kogi State and across Nigeria.
