Rangers victory excites Adeboye, says Enugu club is my darling team

Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Grassroots Sports, Prince Anthony Adeboye is on cloud nine over the qualification of Rangers to the next round of the CAF Champions League.

Rangers today (Friday) beat Republic of Benin side Sobemap 5-4 on penalties to book a place in the second round of the competition.

Reacting moments after the match Adeboye tweeted…”Congratulations to Rangers, my darling team.”

Adeboye who is the President of NNL side Smart City stressed that he is confident Rangers will go far in the money spinning competition even as he charged the Enugu club to step up preparations for the next round.

It would be noted that Adeboye has been a die hard fan of the Flying Antelopes right from his youthful days.
