Ebi Egbe applauds appointment of Finidi George as Super Eagles Coach

Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer of Monimichellie Sports Facility Construction Limited, Chief Ebi Egbe has thrown his support behind the appointment of Finidi George as the new handler of the Super Eagles; saying that the former Ajax of Holland winger will succeed if given the right working condition
” It’s a thing of joy that the NFF listened to the yearnings of Nigerians in appointing an indegenous coach to handle the Super Eagles and Finidi George is a perfect choice.

” He played the game to the highest level and won many laurels for the country. Before coming to Nigeria to handle Enyimba whom he won the league with, he was in Europe with elite young players, so he understands elite players and elite football. All we have to do now is to support him to succeed”, noted Egbe popularly known as Money Love.

Meanwhile, Egbe said there is need for Nigeria to invest in high quality pitches to improve the quality of the country’s local league to make it at par with their foreign counterparts.

” There is no denying the fact that football now has gone scientific and we need quality pitches in this country to improve our local league.

” One of the advantages of having quality pitches is that it will create a level playing ground for home based players and their foreign based counterparts when they’re invited to Super Eagles camp.

” You know that Africa especially Nigeria have raw talents and when scouts come here to pick players, they expose them to quality pitches abroad to improve their game and at the end of the day they sell them for millions of dollars and that’s what we need here”, he concluded.
