Spires, IHS Schools, and Community Outreach Begins In Lagos Island

The organizers of the Spires 5-Aside Naija Street Soccer Tournament Spires Media flags off its 2026 community outreach in Lagos Island.

The community schools initiative began with a visit to Dolphin High School on Monday for an impactful session with hundreds of the students.

In collaboration with IHS and J+R, hospital experts were present to speak to the students on professional career choices, healthy lifestyle, and the significance of education for an overall successful football career.

The pupils were presented with educational materials such as school bags, books, water bottles, and other items.

On air personality, Chukwudi Ezugwu engaged the students in an interactive educational session, while Dr. Nwachukwu Augustine of J+R Hospital delivered professional health tips for the school environment and the larger society. IHS Representatives were also present at the event.

For the representative of J+R Hospital and IHS, the collaboration with Spires Media on the school outreach project is to prepare the younger generation for a successful professional life.

The project manager for Spires Media Olusola Robert said the idea is to bring career professionals closer to the pupils and prepare their minds for life beyond their secondary education phase.

“The initiative is born out of a desire to improve the life of the younger generation across the board. Hence, we have moved from the football pitch to engaging these young people in their schools.” Olusola said.

The Spires Media and IHS community outreach will move to other schools across the five divisions in Lagos in the coming days.
