BREAKING: Abducted NYSC members regain freedom

20 prospective members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and one civilian abducted in Imo State have been rescued by security agencies.
The victims were rescued in an intelligence-led operation involving the military, Department of State Services, DSS, police and other security agencies.
Recalled that the NYSC prospective members and the civilian were abducted while travelling through the state.
Following the incident, security agencies launched an operation to locate the victims and secure their release.
Security sources said the rescued victims are currently receiving medical attention at a DSS facility.
Efforts are also ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the abduction and track down those responsible for the incident.
The security agencies are expected to continue investigations as they work to apprehend any remaining suspects connected to the abduction.
