..As Preparations Gather Momentum For November 2026 World Pro Wrestling Championship

Preparations are gathering momentum for the much-anticipated NAGAFF World Professional Wrestling Championship scheduled for Sunday November 29th, 2026, as wrestlers and officials of Pro Wrestling Africa (PWA) paid a strategic visit to the Secretariat of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF).
The visit represents an important step towards strengthening the partnership between PWA and NAGAFF in their shared commitment to promoting professional wrestling, sports development and international sporting cooperation.
The PWA delegation, comprising wrestling personalities and administrative officials led by the Secretary General of PWA, Olusesan Olukoya, used the opportunity to reaffirm the organisation’s commitment to the successful hosting of the championship. The engagement also highlights the growing relationship between the professional wrestling community and the freight forwarding sector, demonstrating how sports can serve as a platform for unity, business networking and international collaboration.
Five wrestlers and three officials were presented at the timely visit. In attendance at the visit were Nigerian National pro wrestling coach, who is also the AIWF inter-continental heavyweight champion and title holder, Samuel Omare Omene-Johnson, (Jimmy Palm De African Dream), the two lady wrestlers: Jennifer Adaobi Obiora (Jenna Swift) and Blessing Uzochi Nathans (De Blaze), Abuja based Tochukwu Johnson (De Hardman), and Wilfred Tochukwu Ekpemandu (Fred Rodrick). The two officials were Emeka Egoh and Lazzy Don Onukwu.
According to Olusesan Olukoya, the November 2026 championship is expected to provide an exciting platform for professional wrestlers to showcase their talents, entertain fans and promote Nigeria as an emerging destination for international professional wrestling events.
With NAGAFF’s institutional support and PWA’s experience in wrestling promotion and international networking, the championship promises to be another significant milestone in the development of professional wrestling in Africa.
The visit to the NAGAFF Secretariat further underscores the importance of stakeholder collaboration in building a sustainable wrestling industry and creating opportunities for African wrestlers to gain greater international recognition.
Olukoya emphasized that High Chief Tochukwu Emmanuel Ezisi’s contribution to African professional wrestling goes beyond the honour of being named Grand Patron of Pro Wrestling Africa. His willingness to associate with the organisation, the pledged partnership and provision of an institutional platform through NAGAFF represents an encouraging development for the future of professional wrestling in Africa.
For PWA, his involvement is an opportunity to strengthen corporate partnerships, attract wider stakeholder participation and build a more sustainable professional wrestling industry. As PWA continues its mission of uniting the world through professional wrestling, High Chief Tochukwu Ezisi stands as an important partner in the drive to give African wrestlers greater recognition, opportunities and international visibility.
