PWA scribe, Olukoya appointed AIWF Africa President

The Allied Independent Wrestling Federation (AIWF) has appointed the Secretary General of Pro-Wrestling Africa as it’s African President.
According to a statement by the body, the new position entrusts him with the responsibility of overseeing all continental activities of AIWF across Africa with the sole aim of expanding the reach of professional wrestling as well as expand the growth of the sports in the continent.
The body noted that AIWF and Pro-Wrestling Africa has various wrestling promotion partnerships and affiliates, such as Cameroon Pro- Wrestling Federation (CPWF), Togo Catch, and Beninoise Pro- Wrestling Federation
(BPWF) and Olukoya’s role will encompass the coordination of events, supporting regional wrestling promotions and driving initiatives to elevate the profile of independent professional wrestling promotions throughout the continent.

The statement further stated that Olukoya is well positioned to lead the charge in promoting the values of
AIWF and ensuring wrestling fans across Africa experience the excitement of AIWF events just as it posited that his leadership will play a vital role in providing new opportunities for African wrestlers and delivering top quality entertainment to fans.

“We are thrilled to welcome Olusesan Olukoya to the AIWF leadership team,” said Matt Creed, the body’s Executive Director.
“His appointment reflects our dedication to expanding our international footprint and elevating the wrestling scene in Africa. We are confident that his leadership will open new opportunities for African wrestlers and create thrilling experiences for fans in the region, further enhancing the global reach of AIWF.

“AIWF is dedicated to fostering the development of independent wrestling across the globe and this appointment marks a significant milestone in expanding the Federation’s international footprint.

“Under Olukoyas leadership, AIWF Africa aims to build a vibrant and thriving wrestling community, offering exciting opportunities for athletes and unforgettable moments for wrestling fans.

“AIWF Africa aims to bring top-tier wrestling entertainment to fans, empowering independen promotions and providing a platform for African athletes to showcase their skills.
This appointment marks a significant step in AIWF’s commitment to fostering international growth and strengthening its presence in the continent”, concludes the statement.

Meanwhile, Olukoya has expressed his excitement for the new role, emphasizing the importance of bringing opportunities to African wrestlers and creating a platform for their talent.
“It’s an honour to lead AIWF’s efforts in Africa,” said Olukoya. “I am committe to working closely with the entire AIWF team to elevate the professional Wrestling scene in Africa and ensure that our events bring excitement and inspiration to fans and athletes alike.
