Abia Comets Football Club will be participating in the Abia State Governor’s NALCOMA Pre Season Tournament, which kickoffs Monday, November 4 at the Enyimba International Stadium, Aba.
Abia Comets media officer Emmanuel Chinedu said the tournament will feature eight professional Football clubs in the South-East and South-South Geopolitical zones.
The Umuahia Based club, will feature in the Pre-Season Tournament alongside fellow Nigeria National League (NNL) clubs, such as Edel FC (Awka), Abakaliki FC (Abakaliki), Kun Khalifat FC (Owerri), Godswill Akpabio FC ( Uyo) and as well as Solutions FC of Awka, while two amateur league sides such as Diamond Academy (Umuahia) and Ahudia Nnem FC ( Aba) will also be competing in the four-day football programme which will end on Thursday, November 7,2024.
The four days will help to provide a great opportunity for teams to continue on their preparation ahead of the 2024/25 NNL season, which is expected to kickoff on November 30th, 2024.
