A strong Nigerian contingent made up of male and female wrestlers have arrived Cotonou, Benin Republic to be part of the training programme being put in place by Pro-Wrestling Africa in conjunction with Allied Independent Wrestling Federation ( AIWF) and that country’s Wrestling Federation ( FEBECATCH) to further develop the mats man game in the West African sub-region.
The Nigerian team which was led by the Secretary General of Pro-Wrestling Africa, Olusesan Olukoya are participating in the programme slated for November 16-17, 2024.
Also in the Nigerian team is veteran wrestler and lead resource person, Samuel Omare Omene Johnson known around the pro wrestling world as Jimmy Palm “De African Dream”,
Samson “De Miser” from Ghana and Alexander De Queen amongst others.
At hand to welcome the Nigerians are
President of FEBECATCH, Oke Ezechiel, the 1st vice president Wanvoegbe Germain and the Secretary, Bissi Mohinou who all expressed happiness that Nigeria came with a strong contingent just as they reiterated that participants will be at home throughout their stay in the French speaking country.
