Uzodimma approves Committee for Ahiajoku Lecture 2025
His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma, CON, the Executive Governor of Imo State, has approved the setting up of a committee to organise next year’s Ahiajoku Lecture series.
According to a statement by the Commissioner for Information, Public Orientation and Strategy, Hon Declan Emelumba, the Chairman of the Lecture ceremony, is a former Secretary General of the Commonwealth, Chief Emeka Anyaoku, while the chairman of the organising committee is Chief Gray Nnachi–Enwo Igariwey, with Chief Stanley Amuchienwa is his deputy. Nze Ray Emeana, the Director General of Ahiajoku Centre, is the secretary.
Other members are drawn from the seven Igbo speaking states of the country
Emelumba disclosed that the theme for next year’s lecture is ” The Future of the Igbo Economy Amidst the Challenges of Insecurity in the South East, A call Paradigm Shift”
He said other details concerning the lecture, including the guest lecturer, and the dates will be announced later.
