NYCN appoints Agwuncha new Ag. Vice President for South East

President of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Amb. Sukubo S. Sukubo has appointed Comrade Izunna Agwuncha as the Acting Vice President, South East, of the council.
In a statement by Sukubo made available to newsmen in Owerri, Thursday, the NYCN President disclosed that Agwuncha’s appointment, which takes immediate effect, was necessitated by the resignation of immediate past Vice President, Mr Smart Uwakwe, on Dec. 5, 2024.
According to him, the appointment of Agwuncha was part of the resolutions reached during an emergency meeting of the NYCN’s National Executive Committee on Dec. 10, 2024.
He therefore charged the new acting VP to take full responsibility of the Office of the Vice President pending the conduct of a bye-election as well as congratulated him on the new appointment.
Sukubo who reminded Agwuncha of his new role, pointed out that the group looks forward to more of your good contributions to the council via the new office.
Agwuncha, until his new appointment served as Assistant Secretary South-East of the NYCN who had contributed immensely to the growth and progress of the council.
