Abeokuta Sports Club honours Majekodunmi with Sports Ambassador Award

Chairman of Ogun State Football Association, Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi has continued to receive recognition for his outstanding contributions towards football development in the state with the latest coming from Abeokuta Sports Club 1904.
The Club on Saturday, December 14, 2024 Presented Majekodunmi, an executive board member of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) the prestigious Sports Ambassador Award.

The award ceremony was officiated by the club’s President, Prince (Dr.) Seni Ogunyemi, who commended Majekodunmi’s dedication to the sport.

According to the Club’s President, under his leadership, Ogun State has seen significant development in grassroots football, alongside notable achievements at the national level through his work with the NFF.

“Majekodunmi’s contributions extend beyond administrative excellence; he has also fostered talent development and promoted initiatives that strengthen the community’s love for football.

“This recognition underscores his legacy as a transformative figure in Nigerian sports”, stated the club.
