Super Eagles Supporters Club boss, Okumagba congratulates Lookman over CAF Player of the Year Award

Founder/ President of Super Eagles Supporters Club, Prince Vincent Okumagba has joined millions of Nigerians in congratulating Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman on his victory as the 2024 CAF Africa footballer of the Year.

The Atlanta of Italy talisman was on Monday evening in Marrakech, Morocco announced as the best African player by the continental football governing body taking over from his fellow countryman, Victor Osimhen who conquered the continent in 2023.
In a congratulatory message he personally signed, Okumagba noted that he’s not surprised with the victory considering his superlative performance for both country and club which gave him an edge over other contestants.
” I was not surprised that Lookman won the award because he performed excellently well at the last AFCON finals in Cote d’Ivoire and singlehandedly made sure that Atlanta won the last Europa finals against German Champions, Bayern Leverkusen where he made history as the first player to score a hat- trick in the finals of that elite European Championship.
” I on behalf of members of the Super Eagles Supporters Club both home and in the Diaspora say a very big congratulations to him and look forward to his leading the Super Eagles to more victories”, concludes the statement.
