PWA Secretary, Olukoya felicitates with Christians on Christmas, hopes for better 2025
Secretary General of Pro- Wrestling Federation, Olusesan Olukoya has felicitated with Christians in Nigeria and all over the world as they celebrate Christmas in remembrance of the birthday of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
In his goodwill message, Olukoya who also doubles as President of Allied Independent Wrestling Federation ( AIWF) admonished Christians to remember the true meaning of Christmas which is a time for sober reflections, prayer, and gratitude for the gift of salvation.
” As we celebrate Christmas today, I pray that the blessings of Christmas be upon us all and may we experience the joy, peace, and love that Jesus brings” In the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” – John 10:10.
“I also want to appreciate all Christians around the world as the birth of Christ signifies love. For God, so love the world that he gave us his only begotten son that whoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life”, he stressed.
He used the occasion to thank God for His faithfulness so far on their projects and training organised in many African nations and on his recent and successful European pro- wrestling tour that took him to five nations namely; Belgium , France, Sweden, Denmark and Spain, describing it as God doing
” We’re hoping to reach out the more and also have more events, trainings, and championships in the coming year in many African nations where professional wrestling are not known. We really want to break barriers and create more national pro-wrestling Federations and associations as God is helping us.
Olukoya however noted that the Federation cannot achieve this alone
and as such they’re seeking for support from marketers, government bodies, corporate agencies, wrestlers and the media to achieve their aims and goals of taking pro -wrestling to all the nooks and crannies of Africa
