NNL/ProStar 2024-2025 January Awards: Honoring Excellence in Nigerian Football
As part of efforts to recognize and reward excellence in Nigerian football, the Nigerian National League (NNL), in partnership with ProStar Sports International, will host the January 2025 Monthly Awards Ceremony on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at the NNL Secretariat.
This initiative, powered by ProStar Sports International, the official partner of the NNL, aims to celebrate outstanding performances from players, coaches, referees, and teams throughout the league season.
The January awardees have distinguished themselves with remarkable performances, showcasing the competitive and exciting nature of the NNL.
List of January 2025 Award Winners:
Best Goalkeeper of the Month: Oladideji Joshua (Crown FC)
Kept three clean sheets without receiving a caution.
Most Valuable Player of the Month: Abdullahi Umar (Kebbi United FC)
Scored four goals, including the first hat-trick of the season.
Highest Goal Scorer of the Month: Abdullahi Umar (Kebbi United FC)
Recorded four goals in total, with a standout hat-trick performance.
Best Coach of the Month: Coach Emmanuel Deutsh (Solution FC)
Led his team to two victories in the period under review.
Best Behaved Team of the Month: Gateway United FC
Demonstrated exceptional discipline with no cautions.
Goal of the Month: Babatunde Toafeek (Gateway United FC)
Scored with a well-executed tactical curl into the far net.
Best Referee of the Month: Ogunfolaji Joshia (Osun State FA)
Displayed firmness and resoluteness in officiating the match between ABS FC and Crown FC.
