Former NRA boss, Mba bags Sportsville Award

Former President of Nigeria Referees Association, Linus Mba has been nominated for this year’s Sportsville Special Recognition Award.
According to a statement by the award committee, the former CAF and FIFA referees instructor was nominated for the Icon Category of the award in recognition of his role in refereeing development in Nigeria and beyond.
” We’re happy to announce that a referee icon and former President of Nigeria Referees Association, Linus Mba has been nominated for this year’s Sportsville Special Recognition Award.
“The choice of Mba who was a FIFA badged referee, CAF and FIFA referees instructor and a one time Executive Board member of Nigeria Football Federation is in recognition of his immense contributions towards the development of referring in the country. And we belief nobody deserves this award more than him”, noted the statement.
The award will come up on Friday,21, March, 2025 at the Eko Club, Lagos.
