Edwin Clark: Peter Obi, ex- IGP Okiro pay condolence visit to family

Former Anambra Governor and Presidential candidate of Labour Party in the 2023 General Election, Mr. Peter Obi and ex-Inspector General of Police Mike Okiro paid a condolence visit to the family of Late Chief Edwin Clark in Abuja.
Obi arrived at the residence of the late elder statesman around 4 pm, with former IGP Okiro entering moments later.
While signing the condolence register, Okiro penned: “We lost a father, we lost a gem. May your soul rest in peace.”
Other prominent Nigerians who paid a visit to the late Clark’s residence include the Senator representing Bayelsa West Senatorial District, Seriake Dickson, a former Senator representing Delta South Senatorial District, Senator James Manager, and a former Kaduna State Governorship Candidate in the 2023 General Election , Jonathan Asake.
Others are former Head of the Civil Service, Prof Oladapo Afolabi; Head of Store Management, Office of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Ambassador Kem Ajieh; President of the Middle Belt Forum, Dr Pogu Bitrus and Mrs. Regina Omo-Agege, among others.
