Churchill Oliseh Bags Taraba Coaches Top Award

The Taraba State Chapter of the Nigeria Football Coaches Association has awarded the Award of Excellence 2025 to Barrister Churchill Oliseh, the President of FC Ebedei.
Presented on April 4th, this award recognizes Barrister Oliseh’s selfless service to humanity through his commitment to developing football at the grassroots level in Nigeria, particularly in Taraba State.
Oliseh’s impressive track record and significant contributions to football have established FC Ebedei as a standout performer and model for professionally managed grassroots football in Nigeria and across Africa.
The club promotes and sustains a vibrant football culture and tradition in Nigeria and Africa, empowering talented footballers with the skills and personalities necessary for success in Europe and beyond.
Notably, three graduates from the FC Ebedei academy; Paul Onuachu, Frank Onyeka, and Raphael Onyedika represented Nigeria in the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, where the Super Eagles secured the silver medal.
As one of Africa’s most respected football academies, FC Ebedei consistently produces top-quality players and stands out as one of the best-managed football organizations in Nigeria.
Barrister Churchill Oliseh has played a pivotal role in the careers of five Members of the Order of the Niger (MON) through FC Ebedei: Sunday Oliseh, Dosu Joseph, Paul Onuachu, Frank Onyeka, and Raphael Onyedika.

Today, graduates from FC Ebedei annually participate in prestigious tournaments such as the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and the Nigeria Premiership. They have also gone on to play in various leagues across Italy, England, Denmark, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain, Romania, Greece, Holland, and Serbia, in addition to thriving in Nigeria.
