Ileogbo United FC To Be Unveiled April 17

In a significant boost for grassroots football development in Osun State, Ileogbo United Football Club, a representation of excellence in Nigerian grassroots football, is set to be officially unveiled on Thursday, April 17.
Affectionately known as “Arepoponda,” Ileogbo United aims to establish new standards in grassroots football administration and inclusive player development at a top-class facility, utilizing the best training methods available.
Under the visionary leadership of Engineer Lanre Adeleke and supported by a team of high achievers, Ileogbo United FC will compete in Nigeria’s third-tier division, the Nationwide League One (NLO) Division One.
In a media chat ahead of the club’s groundbreaking launch, Engineer Adeleke stated, “The birth of Ileogbo United Football Club resulted from years of research into sports development, inclusive football, and quality management skills.
“We are inspired by the passion that Nigerians from all walks of life have for football and the wealth of talent found throughout Nigeria.
“Ileogbo United FC is committed to being second to none, extending our efforts far beyond the pitch. We aim to be a beacon of inspiration for grassroots football talents, shaping them into future stars and providing pathways for their careers in Europe and beyond.
“I don’t want to reveal too many details, but come Thursday at the club’s press launch, we will present Ileogbo United’s dynamic approach to growth and on-field execution.”
The Lanreleke Sports Academy in Ileogbo, Osun State, will host the unveiling of Ileogbo United Football Club at 10:00 am.
