Barrister Isaac Danladi has officially assumed leadership as the new Attorney General of Nasarawa State, marking a significant return to the legal profession.
In his inaugural address, Danladi called on the staff of the Ministry of Justice to rally behind him in enhancing social justice throughout the state.
His appointment comes in the wake of a recent cabinet reshuffle by Governor Abdullahi Sule, adding another milestone to his political career.
Previously serving as the Commissioner for the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, Danladi steps into the pivotal role of Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice.
During the transition of power from former Attorney General Magistrate Hauwa Samuel, Barrister Danladi stressed the importance of collaboration among the staff of the Ministry of Justice to advance social justice in Nasarawa State.
He stated, “Commitment is the backbone of anticipated success,” urging the team to prepare for the challenges ahead.
He reiterated that fulfilling the mandate given by Governor Abdullahi Sule is of utmost importance.
Danladi also affirmed that the governor will continue to explore effective ways to meet the yearnings and aspirations of the people, calling for support for the current administration.
As part of the transition, outgoing Attorney General Magistrate Hauwa Samuel reminded the management staff of the dynamic nature of governance changes, encouraging them to extend the same level of support to Danladi that they had provided to her.
