EFCC Seeks NSC Collaboration for Sports Development

A delegation of the Committee on Sports of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) paid a working visit to the Chairman National Sports Commission Mallam. Shehu Dikko. The delegation was led by the Head of Sports Committee Halilu Dauda, Assistant Commander of EFCC 2.

The purpose of the visit was to familiarise with the Chairman ahead of the One Service One Medal (OSOM) Games taking place at the MKO Abiola National Stadium while forging a collaboration for sports development.

Dauda said, “We have come to familiarise ourselves with the NSC Chairman as we prepare for the OSOM Games. Moreover, he has been doing a wonderful job since assuming this office so we came to extend our appreciation.
We have no doubt that with the vision he has for Nigerian sports, the sky will only be our starting point. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu should be commended for putting this round peg in a round hole to the benefit of sports.

“We also seized the opportunity to explore areas of collaboration and partnership with the Commission for the good of Nigerian sports. It is important that we collaborate to harness the immense sporting talents in the country.”
